One of my very first blog posts was my first trip to the ABC studio in New York to be apart of the live audience. I went with lovely J of course and we were asked to return and be taste testers. Im fully convinced the universe was working in our favor that day and granted us the opportunity to experience something we will both never forget. To many, it’s just a show with some famous people that cook byt to me it’s so much more. It’s a show full of passion and culture and people that love to cook as much as they love to eat. The entire cast of hosts were amazing and friendly and shook all of our hands. We were able to try all of the food made on the show which was pulled pork tacos, cream cheese+date & pistachio cheese balls, and poached eggs with avocado toast. Everything was so bomb and I tried to eat it as lady like as possible considering millions of people were going to see my face on TV. The audience was amazing and full of energy which made my job a lot easier.

It was truly surreal to be sitting at the table that so many people would love to sit at and have the opportunity to be up close and personal with culinary heavy weights like Mario Batali and Michael Symon. Checking it off the bucket list never felt better.

This was sent to me by my aunt as the show was airing. She had not known I was visiting the show so it was funny for her to realize it was me and send me the picture. It is very weird seeing yourself on TV but it’s also an incredible experience and something I’ll keep with me forever. I hope to one day be apart of The Chew team and make my own yummy food, who knows ūüėĀ
